Section 1
You’ll know me when you slip in through the cracks
Behind the scream that’s always there
A distant flare on lonely nights, I’ll be the lights
And how you’ll know me when I conjure up the beasts
Know me
You’ll know me
You’ll know me
Section 2
Well...its been a long time hasn’t it friend
And isn’t this an exclusive transmission
The communications almost non-existent now
Now our orbits never change
They never merge
They never even parallel
They only criss cross one moment every billion years
And we’re never near
And we’ll never ever know
But still I try
I hold my breath and dive head first
Through my past lives and through the muck and mire
My rocket booster sends me smashing through the wall
The wall splits and its raining through
It rains.. it rains through the cracks
And the cracks become gaps
And the gaps become huge gaping holes in time and space
Unrepairable…
And when I’m called back
When I’m him again
I only know that somethings missing
This is how it manifests
As something missing
And he finds himself on the couch again
In his living room
Paralyzed by fear
And exhausted from travel
Section 3
Ears wake to the sound at the door
And as she steps in the room
He swoons and pastes on a smile
He fumbles further with transparent gestures
Yet still she offers her hand
A touch means a lot
A touch means a lot
Ears wake to the sound at the door
And as she steps in the room
He looms for recovery and pastes on a smile
Fumbles further with transparent gestures
Yet still she offers her hand
A touch means a lot
A touch means a lot
